'Wire things'
All the following objects were created in the course „Dinge aus Draht I und II“.
This course provides a basic understanding of wire as a material and of the processing methods for metal and wire.

Fruitbasket
Constructed Deconstruction
For this design I used raw force by dropping a two-kilo steel ball onto the basket to give it its shape. Then I primed and painted it.
Shoe rack
The design of this multifunctional object with its simple shapes and strong colours is to remind of the Bauhaus design.
Wire chair

The idea behind the concept of this chair is to build a stable, lightweight metal frame with anchoring points, so that the seat can be individually filled with different materials such as fabric, wood or metal.
